Formash (formash.com) is a QR-based table-ordering platform operated by Bengal Tech Lab, a proprietorship based at 1 No. Gurdaha, Malakarpara, Shyamnagar, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal – 743127. In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “Formash” refer to Bengal Tech Lab.

You scan the QR sticker on your table, view that restaurant’s menu with your table number attached, place an order, and pay online or at the counter. The restaurant then prepares your order and serves it to your table.

Formash is a technology platformthat connects diners with restaurants. The restaurant — not Formash — is solely responsible for the food and everything about it, including its quality, preparation, hygiene, ingredients, pricing, and service.

Any complaint about the food or the service is between you and the restaurant. Formash does not prepare, handle, or deliver food.

Please provide accurate table and order details. An order you place is a request to the restaurant, which may accept or decline it — for example, when an item is unavailable or the kitchen is closed.

Where a restaurant offers online payment, your payment is made directly to that restaurant through the restaurant's own payment gateway (such as Razorpay, Cashfree or PhonePe). Formash only shows the menu and passes your order and payment request to that gateway — it never receives, holds, or settles the money, and does not store your card, UPI, or bank details. The restaurant is the merchant of record for the payment. You may also choose to pay at the counter. Your order is confirmed once payment succeeds, or once the restaurant accepts a counter order.

If you are a restaurant using Formash, the following also applies. You connect your own payment gateway (such as Razorpay, Cashfree or PhonePe) by providing its API keys, and you authorise Formash to use those keys to create and verify payments for orders placed at your restaurant. Your keys are stored encrypted and are used only to process your own orders.

You are the merchant of record for every payment and are solely responsible for your payment-gateway account, your KYC, the taxes on your sales, and any chargebacks or refunds to your customers. Money from online orders is paid directly to your account— Formash never receives or holds it.

Formash charges you a monthly subscription and takes no commission on your orders. If your subscription is not active, online ordering for your restaurant may be paused. These services are provided by Bengal Tech Lab.

Do not place fraudulent, fake, or malicious orders, and do not provide false information. Misuse of the platform may result in refused service.

To the extent permitted by law, Formash’s total liability for any issue arising from your use of the platform is limited to the value of the affected order. Formash is not liable for the food, preparation times, or the acts or omissions of the restaurant.

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Continuing to use Formash after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of West Bengal.
