When you place an order, we may collect:

• Your name and phone number, if you provide them.
• Your table number and the details of your order.
• Payment information.

Payment details are collected and processed directly by the restaurant's own payment gateway (such as Razorpay, Cashfree or PhonePe). Formash does not receive, hold, or store your card, UPI, or bank details — the money goes straight to the restaurant.

We use your information to:

• Process and fulfil your order.
• Send order confirmations and status updates.
• Provide customer support and handle any disputes.
• Keep records required for accounting and legal purposes.

We share your information only with:

• The restaurant you order from— your table number and order details, so they can prepare and serve your order.
• the restaurant's own payment gateway (such as Razorpay, Cashfree or PhonePe)— to process your payment directly to the restaurant.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

We use only essential cookies — for example, to keep restaurant staff signed in to their dashboard. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections, access controls, and a managed, access-restricted database. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

We keep order records only as long as needed to run the service and to meet legal and accounting requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@formash.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
